It started in Berlin.

Sinuslabs is one person: Oskar Schachtschneider, making plugins for Windows, macOS and Linux.

Berlin, and Hardstyle radio doing most of the raising. I started making tracks at twelve — Dirty Dutch, Electro, everything loud.

Native Instruments
I studied computer science and took a job at Native Instruments — as a web developer, not an audio one. Then I dropped out: real-world experience was worth more than the degree.

Most of my plugins are open under GPLv3. Some aren't. I open what I can and don't make a religion of it.
Patchwerk
Five plugins out, and now the one I'm most excited about: a visual DSP editor with AI built in. Patch the sound, design the interface, ship a real native plugin. patchwerk.dev
